Oh Come, Let Us Chat The Way Forward

Indeed, by conversation, we are consciously able to build ourselves and society. Hence, it is with a profound sense of warmth and that of great optimism that I invite you all to this forum. It is a medium contrived out of a seething desire, out of a ferocious wish. It is the wish to inspire a widespread desire for the needed change we yearn for a prosperous and an egalitarian society anchored on the very basis of values, of appreciable commitments.

I emplore all to see this platform as a forum to bare it all that concerns great initiatives, lofty ideas and sublime efforts that seek to foster growth, in mind and heart, of individuals who themselves would become the engineers of a stronger and more virile society.

When we engage ourselves in earnest discussions that seek to find the true intents of the mind, we are encouraged to express our wishes and contributions towards the very issue that demands our deliberation. But be that as it may, it is upon a specific issue or many issues presented that our senses of rational exploration comes into play. An issue must be at stake, a topic must be in the front burner that would call us forth to the round table of discourse;  and really it must be initiated by someone or some persons.

In this platform, I seek to be that inspiring element that brings to the front burner the idea that would call us all to a committed effort in devising the necessary avenues for resolution to our menace. By it also, I seek to offer the font necessary to take our society and immediate communities to the higher pedestal. It is in achieving this that I sought out into this venture, and it is to solicit for your support to keying into this idea of being effectively involved in the conscious deliberation towards societal good that this medium has come to be.

Thus, with all earnestness I call on all to come home and let us discuss, sincerely and critically, our ways into solutions that our social, economic and political institutions dearly crave. I bid you come home, and may you find it worth the while coming home to contribute effectively and efficiently.

Very applauding, it was, to hear of the news of the resignation of the minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun. It's very commendable because it is one act very rare in this our clime. It just seems that the penchant for relevance and money has denied the vast majority of the people that essential sense of integrity. That denial is one that has brought about the desire to cling unto power even in the midst of opprobrious criticism to just step down. We've had several instances were public officials formed deaf ears to scathing allegations against their persons and offices until some powers force them out. The case of the erstwhile SGF, Babachir remains atypical.  One can now understand why Kemi's step is such remarkable and verily one that needs to be commended.
