TFAA2018: Samson Itodo Win Youngster Of The Year

Samson Itodo, for his huge contribution to the Not-too-young-to-run bill later passed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, has won the Young Person of the year 2018 award organised by The Future Awards Africa (TFAA).

 Others of the young influencers are for Professional Service, Temi Marcella Awogboro; for Public Service, Daniel Philemon Saradau and for Fashion, Tosin Ogundadegbe. Ayobola Kekere Ekun (creativity), Mark Angel (comedy).

Others winners are Emmanuel Oyeleke (photography), Chidi Ajaere (businesses), John Obidi (new media), Zainab Balogun (acting). Uche Kenneth Udekwe (Advocacy), Ayodele Sipasi Olalekan (agriculture), Nadine Ibrahim (screen producer), Olive Emodi (on air person, television),
Itodo Anthony (Education).

Odunayo Eweniyi, Joshua Chibueze and Somtochukwu Ifezue, Folu Storms (on air person radio). Simisola Ogunleye won in the Music category and Ahmed Musa won in Sports.

The Future Awards Africa celebrates a new class of innovators, philanthropists, activists, technocrats and creators promoting the shared mission of changing the African narrative.

Very applauding, it was, to hear of the news of the resignation of the minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun. It's very commendable because it is one act very rare in this our clime. WTO: The Issue With Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's Nomination

I've been keenly following the developments as regards nominations for the position of the Director General of the World Trade Organization, WTO, especially as its concerns the general ratification by the African regional body, AU, to field a consensus candidate. In doing that I've looked at the nomination of Fred Yunov Agah and the eventual substitution with Ngozi Okonjo Iweala (NOI) by Nigeria, together with the dissension by Egypt, a contender in the forthcoming WTO election and a top interested party in the choice of Africa Union consensus candidacy. I have looked at it critically from three widely separate angles of national patriotism, independent objectivity and in the light of regional sense of justice.   Nigerian youths finally have decided it's time they took the bull by the horns in giving direction to the future they desire. With the launch of the endsars movement which was focused as an onslaught against long tales of incidences of police brutality, the demand has serenaded to an emphatic demand for good governance, good economic programs and extensive national rebirth.
