Kingsley Moghalu: The Recipe To Build A Nation

The present situation of the Nigerian state as we find it is one that is not in the least reassuring. After seeming commitments by successive administrations all along the years, since return to self rule, there has been nothing much to write save of political transitions.
Kingsley Moghalu
Even with the return to nascent democracy in 1999 that appeared to have brought the hope to improving upon the great inherent prospects, the country seemed yet to rediscover purpose and direction.  The most recent efforts by the current administration of President Buhari to fighting corruption considered our sapping monster, just seems to be scratching the surface as country yet dawdles in pervasive coma.

It is pathetic how that, despite the resources and the perceived efforts to genuine commitment, the country still remains to rise to expectations. Poor infrastructural presence, galloping power supply, abysmally low standard of living and a struggling economy.

Saddening is the knowledge of how after many oodles of rhetoric as to how desirous and prepared they are to steer this country out of its awful doom by successive candidates the situation still begs. The challenge soon begin to overwhelm them as they assume office; creating in them a lull in real governance and deflating bursting hopes that bestrode them.

It's truly pathetic how this situation has continued to be that the question readily becomes whether Nigeria lacks the requisite expertise to holistically navigate it out of shame; by keeping to and impressing on promises and expectations.

My discovery is that along the years, the course of this great nation has been navigated by entirely politicians and political entities, whose chief interest in politics is SELF. These folks are wrong slates that have opportunistically pried on this nation. We have tried them, have believed in their highfalutin assurances, which in practice ended been deceits. The truth is that we shall not continue to gamble with our common vision of a great nation. No, they do not deserve to continue.

After due consultation with myself through the process of deep analysis, I have decidedly come to the conclusion that the candidate I will be opting for in the forthcoming 2019 Presidential election is Prof Kingsley Moghalu.

The choice of Kingsley Moghalu is coming from a long and consistent journey of searching and studying as to the person best suited for the office of the president at this point in time of our national history.

The suitability of Moghalu at this moment is glaring having known him as a seasoned personality that combines the critical elements of  strong professionalism, sterling  academic excellence and huge diplomatic contingency. This is the composite definition of the leadership Nigeria needs now.

Prof Moghalu's strides as a renowned professional political economist, his academic exposure and the wealth of his international experience marks him out among other contenders. And what more spice do we need more than the vigour and charisma of his youthfulness to impress it in building the nation?

Kingsley Moghalu represents the new breed of leadership that is geared towards a generational shift in the act of governance. A generation that's poised to take away leadership from the older, retiring generation. And he has shown that he's not only prepared but ready for this paradigm ahift.

Right from the very moment of his declaration of interest, the young man has already earmarked the hallmark of his vision and the trajectory by which to achieve it. He's ready, it tells. As against representing the political deceits of fading politicians, Moghalu stands tall as a policy-maker ready to effect policies that would transform our political and economic landscape.

Therefore, in the spirit of a generational shift poised to redefine the art of governance, I join the effort to making Kingsley Moghalu president in order #ToBuildANation. It's my belief that he'd deliver upon expectations and promises.

  1. Nigeria has been plagued by bad leadership, so much so that one asks if all we've had is the best we can be. We shall get there no matter how long it takes. I think my search for candidate to support has ended with the candidature of Kingsley Moghalu
