Laziness: Detach It From The Mind First
Today, I'll be talking about laziness. The concept of laziness has received a lot of condemnation, and rightly so for the cumulative impact it has in the overall body and overall personal goal.
Denotatively, the word laziness suggests an unwillingness to show effort that often leads to lull in activity. A lazy person is one that has shown a lack of energy to perform a said task. It reflects a lack of will which by itself is a reflection of a deflated spirit.
Laziness is a state of the mind that consciously manifests by the response of the physical. It is an inability posed by the deep psychology that feeds the senses and the body response mechanism with obvious weakness. Therefore, it would be said that laziness is the gradual giving in to the suggestion of an inability. It's the submission of the self to the feeling of unwillingness which the mind presents.
In other words, the acceptance and/or rejection of laziness stems from the mind. For instance, I've known how relaxing and sweet sleep is especially the early hours. But the breaking of dawn impresses on the self a need to wake.
Of course, the body would want to keep enjoying that sweet relaxation. But the choice to either submit to that physical desire or not revolves around the mind. Indeed, it's a case of the spirit willing but the body lacking. In such cases, I compel myself to stand up and out of bed. The weakness persists even with a clear inconvenience, but gradually the body falls into acquiescence.
That's the reality about the body. As is with every conscious commitment, the body is just a reactionary medium for what's posited by the mind, the fulcrum of psychological impulses. What it means is that the body builds from the impulsions it receives from the subterranean to effectively execute them.
The lazy response to duty and responsibilities is a function of what the mind dictates and so wishes to express. Tardiness, lateness and sundry irresponsibilities are just the outward expressions of the decision of the mind to so be.
Detaching the mind from the giving of desiring to leverage on the suggestions of what is the self begins the process of reclaiming it from being overwhelmed by the bodily trajectories to ease, convenience and comfort, which by themselves are the leading to laziness.
The sure bet to getting rid of the lazy inclination is to keep the mind active and forcing the body, willy nilly, to respond to its dictates. The feeling of the body must be rerouted to the mind excretion as against the flying occurrences of doing the opposite. Activate your mind, then you prepare your body!
