Four Killed, Many Injured As Truck Driver Plowed Into Group Of Soldiers

At least no fewer than four soldiers were killed with ten others suffering injuries as a truck rammed into their group in Jerusalem, Sunday. Those confirmed killed were a 2nd lieutenant and three cadets, all in their 20s.

An eyewitness account have it that the soldiers had just disembarked from their bus and were busy arranging their baggages when the truck driver seized the opportunity.

"A group had gotten off the bus and were getting organized with their bags when the terrorist took the opportunity, ramming his truck into the group," Rosenfeld said.

The driver who plowed a truck into a group of soldiers in Jerusalem, killing four people and injuring at least 10, may have been an ISIS sympathizer, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, CNN reported. He said that  "all signs show he is a supporter of the Islamic State."

The attacker identified as 28 year old Fadi Qunbar was shot dead on the scene as he tried to reverseand further ram into the group when shots were fired.

No group has yet claimed responsibility but Hamas, a group rooting for a Palestinian state, has praised the attack describing it as courageous and heroic.
