Remorseful Flynn and Conscienceless Babachir

Babachir, Nigeria's SGF
Early Monday, the National Security Adviser to the new America's president Donald Trump and a kitchen cabinet member, Michael Flynn resigned his appointment amidst falsity over his contact with Kremlin.

Mr Flynn stepped down over controversy that trailed his conversation with a Russian ambassador, where he disclosed issues about America's sanctions on Russia. He wrote Donald Trump informing of his decision.

In the letter he apologized for misinforming the president and his vice over the discussion which took place before inauguration, last year.

The three star general received backlash after the record of his contact with the Russian diplomat was leaked, exposing him as having lied on what they really discussed, forcing him to tender his resignation, Monday.

Like Mr Flynn, the Nigerian Secretary to Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has been accused of diverting moneys meant for IDPs into private pocket.

Last year, he was accused of using N220 million being part of the IDPs fund to cut lawn grass, a contract carried by a company he was a director. He referred to the Senate allegation as 'balderdash'.

Calls and repeated calls have been made for his sack. The Senate ad hoc committee on Mounting Humanitarian Crisis in the North has recommended for his sack by the presidency. All has failed to make any effect.

The president has refused to sack him, and neither has he chosen to take the more honorable way. Instead Babachir has remained as the SGF, presenting his office's budget to the same Senate, feeling as if nothing ever happened.
